Audi 2010 Audi S4 Offers Progressive Luxury
While other automakers have lived through a rather brutal past year, Audi has come out on top, with the German manufacturer doing truly well despite the global economic climate. The Audi S4 is proof that Audi is focused on adapting to the changing market place by offering what some are calling a new class of car, “progressive luxury”. Using their A4 Sedan as a basis, Audi’s S4 comes out technically advanced, fast, fuel efficient and priced to attract sophisticated yet sensible buyers who want performance just as much as they want luxury.
This new generation of luxury car owner appreciate the fact that the TFSI V6 engine has 333 horsepower at the top end with an ability to rev up to 6,000 rpm’s. Torque comes rated at 325 foot-pounds, the majority of which is available between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm’s. Greater fuel economy 13.8 liters per 100 kilometers during city driving 9 liters per 100 kilometers during highway driving, but to achieve this, premium fuel is a requirement.
The stock edition of this car comes with 6 speed manual transmission that shifts like a breeze for $52,500 but the car can be ordered with a 7 speed S-Tronic transmission which can switch gears instantly even during hard acceleration or operate like an automatic for a price tag of $54,100.
